Evergreen Deck & Fence of Seattle focuses on composite decks and on the fences and gates that surround them, for homeowners across the city and King County.
What we focus on
Composite decks first, fences close behind
We specialize in composite decking because it answers the question most local homeowners ask us: how do I get a deck that doesn't need refinishing every couple of years? We also build wood decks, handle repairs and resurfacing, and install wood and metal fences and gates, so one team can plan the whole backyard.
Most of the people we work with are homeowners replacing a deck that has worn out, adding outdoor space to a house they plan to stay in, or finally fencing a yard for kids or a dog. We like projects where we can help think through the options, not just take an order.

What we believe
Building for the Northwest climate
Outdoor structures here live through long wet seasons, heavy shade and soil that rarely dries out completely. We think that should shape every decision: which boards go on top, how the frame sheds water, how posts meet the ground, and how much upkeep an owner will realistically do.
It also shapes how we talk with clients. We'd rather explain why a detail matters than just list it on an estimate, because homeowners who understand their deck or fence tend to care for it well. Most of our pages, including the composite vs. wood guide, exist for that reason.
A deck or fence that looks great on day one but traps moisture isn't a good build. We'd rather spend a little more time on flashing, drainage and airflow than come back to replace rotted framing a few years later.
